Jun Togawa | Tamahime sama | Album
Regular price
Released on 25 January 1984, Tamahime-sama (玉姫様) is the seminal debut solo album by Japanese avant-garde icon Jun Togawa. Translating to "Princess Tama", the album is a cornerstone of Japanese New Wave and Art Pop, famous for shattering the rigid, sanitized "idol" archetype of the 1980s through grotesque imagery, raw theatricality, and feminist subversion.
