Strange Country, the breakout album by Canadian cousin duo Kacy & Clayton, is a quiet gem of contemporary folk. Released via New West Records, the album bridges the gap between the isolated Canadian prairies of Saskatchewan and the rich traditions of the 1960s British folk-rock revival. Boasting an impressive 86 Metascore on Metacritic, the record solidified the duo's reputation as master storytellers capable of evoking immense depth at a remarkably young age.
