Kali Malone’s All Life Long (released 9 February 2024 via Ideologic Organ) is a breathtaking, 78-minute work of modern minimalist and drone music. The American composer expands her signature sonic architecture beyond the solo pipe organ to incorporate a chamber choir and a brass quintet. This varied instrumentation marks a major leap in her career, blending avant-garde drone stasis with the evocative, moving textures of medieval and Renaissance polyphony.
