Lonnie Liston Smith | Visions of a New World (w/ The Cosmic Echoes) | Album

Visions of a New World (1975) is widely praised as a classic of cosmic jazz-funk, standing alongside its legendary predecessor Expansions as one of the finest records in Lonnie Liston Smith's extensive discography. Released on the cult Flying Dutchman label, the album serves as a rich, atmospheric bridge between spiritual jazz and early ambient or new-age sensibilities, all tied together by infectious, late-night grooves.
