Lutha | Earth | Album

Released in 1973 on the HMV label, Earth is the highly collectible second and final album by Dunedin, New Zealand progressive rock band Lutha. Following their successful self-titled debut earlier in 1972, Earth shifted the band into a more complex, heavier sonic territory. This change pleased critics but alienated casual listeners at the time, turning the original vinyl pressing into a rare, high-priced Holy Grail for global psych-prog collectors.
