Maestoso was a progressive rock band formed in 1980 in Oldham, Lancashire by Woolly Wolstenholme, Steve Broomhead, Kim Turner and Terry Grady. Wolstenholme formed the band after moving on from Barclay James Harvest. Their music featured Wolstenholme's Mellotron which was characteristic of BJH's sound. Standout albums include One Drop in a Dry World, Caterwauling and the live Fiddling Meanly.
