Imaginative Plain is a raw, highly compressed heavy-psychedelic rock album that relies on sheer volume and red-lined distortion rather than complex songwriting. Released in 2001 on the PSF Records label, the record marks a line-up change for the Japanese trio. Koji Shimura takes over on drums, joining bassist/vocalist Asahito Nanjoh and Acid Mothers Temple guitarist Makoto Kawabata.
