Mark Gillespie | Ring of Truth | Album

Ring of Truth is the third studio album by acclaimed but criminally underrated Australian singer-songwriter Mark Gillespie, released in 1983. Initially released as a self-titled LP, it quickly became known by the title of its lead single. Unlike his previous AOR and country-tinged rock efforts (Only Human and Sweet Nothing), Ring of Truth features a much more isolated, multi-instrumental approach. Gillespie took almost complete sonic control of the record at Fast Forward Studios in Melbourne, playing virtually all the guitars, bass, synths, and keyboards himself.
