Neko Case "Furnace Room Lullaby"

LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Anti, US, 2018, 86915-1, 045778691517, Gatefold Sleeve, Reissue

Neko Case's milestone second album, Furnace Room Lullaby (released in February 2000 alongside her backing band, Her Boyfriends), is widely regarded as the record that established her as an indie-icon and a master of country-noir. Moving away from the cover-heavy honky-tonk pastiche of her debut, The Virginian, this album showcases her evolving into a formidable songwriter, tackling themes of unspecified loss, personal tragedy, and eerie romanticism.
