Nektar's third studio album, ...Sounds Like This, originally released in June 1973 via Bellaphon Records, stands out as a highly divisive and unique entry in the band’s catalog. Sandwiched squarely between their highly structured, space-rock conceptual masterpieces-1972’s A Tab in the Ocean and late 1973’s Remember the Future-the album marks a radical departure into raw, improvisational hard rock.
