Paul Williams | Bugsy Malone (Soundtrack) | Album

The Bugsy Malone (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), composed entirely by the award-winning pop songwriter Paul Williams for Alan Parker’s iconic 1976 musical film, stands as one of the most charming, distinctive, and brilliantly executed achievements of Williams' career. Tasked with scoring a gangster film where the entire cast consisted of children shooting whipped-cream "splurge guns" from pedal cars, Williams bypassed juvenile novelties and instead delivered a rich, jazz-age score of traditional pop, ragtime, and theatre music.
