Atom Heart Mother is the fifth studio album by the English progressive rock band Pink Floyd, released in 1970. The album is known for its ambitious, experimental blending of rock music with orchestral and choral arrangements and for its iconic cow on the cover. It was Pink Floyd's first number one album in the UK. Despite its commercial success, some band members, particularly Roger Waters and David Gilmour, have expressed negative opinions about it in later years (but Artrockstore loves it).
