Pink Floyd’s The Early Years 1967-1972: Cre/ation is a fascinating, two-disc highlight reel extracted from the band's massive, 27-disc archival box set. Functioning as a sonic bridge, it maps the evolutionary leap from Syd Barrett’s whimsical psych-pop to the majestic, stadium-filling prog-rock architecture that would ultimately culminate in The Dark Side of the Moon.
