Shine On Brightly is the second studio album by the English progressive rock band Procol Harum, released in late 1968. The album is widely considered a landmark in the evolution of progressive rock, primarily for its ambitious, 17-minute multi-part epic suite, "In Held 'Twas in I". It is a blend of progressive rock, psychedelic rock, blues rock, and classical influences. The classic lineup featured Gary Brooker (lead vocals, piano), Robin Trower (guitar), Matthew Fisher (Hammond organ, piano, vocals), David Knights (bass guitar), and B.J. Wilson (drums). Keith Reid was the lyricist.
