Coda is a collaborative album by French electronic musician Richard Pinhas and Japanese noise musician Merzbow (Masami Akita). In addition to Pinhas (synths) and Merzbow (noise, distortion), the album features guest contributions from Oren Ambarchi (motor guitar), Florian Tatard (accordion), and Senza Testa (synths). The album blends Pinhas's space-bound synth scapes and 'kosmiche' themes with Merzbow's rich, sculpted white noise, drones, and feedback, creating dense soundscapes.
