Robin Williamson | American Stonehenge (w/ His Merry Band) | Album

American Stonehenge, the 1978 studio album by Robin Williamson & His Merry Band, stands as one of the most uniquely imaginative and eccentric chapters in the post-Incredible String Band discography. Recorded in Santa Monica, California, the album is a conceptual fusion inspired by Williamson’s fascination with ancient stone structures and "Celtic remains" found across North America. The result is a whimsical, mystical exploration of how Celtic musical roots might have evolved had they grown entirely in the soil of the New World.
