The Rolling Stones 1977 Promo EP (often catalogued as EP-287) was a rare, promotional-only 7-inch release issued to radio stations and industry insiders to promote their 1977 double live album, Love You Live. Because it was a promotional tool rather than a standard commercial release, formal music reviews from major publications are rare, but it remains a highly sought-after artifact for collectors and serious fans.
Artwork designed by Andy Warhol. As a graphic artist Warhol began designing album covers in the 1950s for Jazz discs on Blue Note Records before he bacame famous. He did three covers for the Rolling Stones.
