The Music From Bagpuss, composed by multi-instrumentalists Sandra Kerr and John Faulkner, is a bona fide bucolic folk-roots classic that introduced an entire generation of children to traditional British folk music. Originally recorded for Oliver Postgate's beloved 1974 stop-motion BBC television series, the soundtrack received a definitive, beautifully remastered reissue via Earth Recordings. The compilation serves not only as a nostalgic time capsule but also as a highly accomplished standalone musical work.
