LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Late Music, US, 2020, LMILP, 5060384619088, 2xLP, First Issue, Gatefold Sleeve, Digital Download

Sarah Davachi’s Cantus, Descant, released on 18 September 2020, is an ambitious, 81-minute double album that serves as a massive, meditative study on impermanence, endings, and the physical properties of sound. Issued as the inaugural release on her own Late Music imprint (a partner of Warp Records), the 17-track record marks a milestone for the Canadian minimalist composer, most notably for being the first time she utilizes her own vocals.
