Sleep "Sleep's Holy Mountain"

LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Tupelo Recording Company, US, 2014, TUP34, 759718083415, Reissue, Incl. Digital Download

Released in 1991 on Tupelo Recording Company, Volume One is the debut studio album by the iconic stoner-doom metal band Sleep. Long before they established their legendary, weed-infused "Sabbath worship" blueprint on Sleep's Holy Mountain and Dopesmoker, this album captured a raw, chaotic, and heavily conflicted young band. It stands out as the only full-length record Sleep recorded as a four-piece line-up, featuring original second guitarist Justin Marler before he left the band to become an Orthodox monk.
