She found the perfect foil in the late Conway Savage, pianist and backing vocalist for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. Recorded in the quietude of Mount Victoria in the NSW Blue Mountains and produced by Higgie's husband, longtime Bad Seeds live engineer Matt Crosbie, the record stands as a masterclass in understated emotional weight.
