1979 self-titled debut album. Hailing from the blue-collar town of Hamilton, Ontario, Teenage Head became the undisputed kings of the Toronto punk landscape. Often billed as "Canada's Ramones", they infused their frantic, three-chord blitzes with an infectious pop swing, surf-rock distortion, and heavy 1950s rockabilly swagger. Think of them as a cross-between the hooks of The Ramones, the grit of The Stooges, and the sleazy theatricality of the New York Dolls.
