The Backsliders | Starvation Box | Album
Regular price
Released in August 2011, Starvation Box by Australian blues veterans The Backsliders is widely considered one of the band's most formidable releases, functioning as a "Delta Blues Wall of Sound". Recorded at Oceanic Studios by Jim Moginie of Midnight Oil, the album serves as both a gritty tribute to pre-war blues icons and a biting commentary on contemporary Australian society.
