Take It From the Man! is the third studio album by The Brian Jonestown Massacre (BJM), released on May 28, 1996, via Bomp! Records. Written and spearheaded by frontman Anton Newcombe, it is widely regarded as a psych-rock gem and the defining record of the band's ultra-prolific 1996 trilogy. The album pivots away from the shoegaze textures of their 1995 debut, Methodrone, morphing instead into an unapologetic, swaggering tribute to 1960s British garage rock and rhythm & blues.
