The British North-American Act | In The Beginning | Album

In the Beginning..., the sole 1968/1969 studio album by Montreal-based psychedelic pop group The British North-American Act, is a charming, short, and highly melodic slice of late-60s soft-psychedelia and garage rock. Clocking in at under 30 minutes, the 12-track record relies on straightforward arrangements, heavy organ hooks, and fuzz guitar. While it sounds distinctly retro and slightly "behind the times" for its 1969 release year, it remains a highly collectible and well-crafted pop artifact.
