The Doors | The Doors (Soundtrack) | Album

The 1991 soundtrack album for Oliver Stone's film The Doors: Original Soundtrack Recording is a 14-track compilation released by Elektra Records that mixes classic tracks by the band with movie excerpts, spoken-word poetry, and unrelated interludes. While containing undeniably powerful music, the album suffers from a disjointed structure and confusing presentation. Released in conjunction with Oliver Stone's 1991 biographical film, the soundtrack serves as a companion piece to the movie rather than a cohesive standalone listening experience.
