The Fabulous Wailers | Livewire!!! (Comp.) | Album

Livewire!!! by The Fabulous Wailers is a definitive 1998 garage rock compilation that perfectly captures the legendary Pacific Northwest band's high-octane second era. Released by Norton Records and drawing exclusively from the band’s mid-60s output (1965–1967) on their own Etiquette label, this collection documents a pivotal sonic evolution. It catches the band shedding their earlier smooth R&B instrumental style to adopt a raw, proto-punk sneer heavily influenced by their rowdy labelmates, The Sonics.
