The Faces | Long Player (Orig.) | Album

Released in February 1971, Long Player is the second studio album by British rock legends the Faces, capturing a band transitioning from a ramshackle bar-room collective into a world-class rock and roll powerhouse. The album stands as a defining example of the band's loose, beautifully chaotic chemistry. It bridges their rough-around-the-edges debut with the chart-topping heights of their subsequent records, proving that rock music doesn't have to be polished to be brilliant.

The Faces' 1971 second album Long Player was originally issued in a die-cut heavy card sleeve designed to look like a vintage shellac release with matching custom Warner Brothers labels.
