You've All Got a Home to Go To is the rare 1985 country-rock release by Melbourne underground outfit The Feral Dinosaurs, notable today as an indispensable piece of Australian pub-rock pre-history. Though the band themselves later joked about managing to "write it out of history", this record captures an incredible collision of talent. It features Conway Savage (later the definitive pianist for Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds) and Jim White (the legendary, fluid drummer of Dirty Three) carving out a ragged, liquor-soaked alternative country sound long before the "alt-country" boom of the 1990s.
