The Flaming Lips "Once Beyond Hopelessness: Christmas on Mars Soundtrack"
LP (NEW) - Vinyl, Warner Brothers Records, US, 2008, 516831-1, 093624980759, First Issue, Gatefold Sleeve, Incl. Printed Insert
The track "Once Beyond Hopelessness" serves as the thematic bookend for The Flaming Lips' 2008 psychedelic sci-fi soundtrack album, Christmas on Mars. Released via Warner Records as the musical companion to frontman Wayne Coyne’s long-gestating independent film, the instrumental piece encapsulates a stark departure from the band's accessible, radio-friendly hits.
