The Shivvers | The Shivvers (Arch.) | Album

The Shivvers’ self-titled compilation is a piece lost power pop history, capturing the infectious energy of a band that should have been massive. Though Milwaukee's favourite cult quintet only released one official single, "Teen Line", during their original 1979-1982 run, archival reissues from labels like Rerun Records and Bachelor Records have finally given their studio recordings the exposure they deserve. It is a no-filler time capsule that bridges the gap between classic '60s pop hooks and early '80s new wave punch.
