Toe Fat was a short-lived British hard rock band (1969–1971) that is now primarily remembered as a "missing link" for future legends of Uriah Heep and Jethro Tull. Their self-titled debut is widely considered their strongest work. It features a heavy, blues-influenced sound with psychedelic undertones. Fronted by soul singer Cliff Bennett, the band featured future Uriah Heep members Ken Hensley and Lee Kerslake, and future Jethro Tull bassist John Glascock.
