The German band Trio's self-titled 1981 debut album, Trio, is celebrated as a masterclass in minimalist punk, pop, and Neue Deutsche Welle (NDW) history. Produced by legendary Beatles associate Klaus Voormann, the album completely strips away traditional rock studio gloss, famously featuring no bass guitar and no complex solos. Instead, it relies entirely on a raw, primitive mix of drums, guitar, toy Casio keyboards, and deadpan vocals.
The first issue of German synth-pop band Trio's 1981 self-titled album came with a carry handle attached to the album sleeve. It also included a bonus 7" single in a sleeve sticky taped on to the front of the main sleeve.
