Timothy Smith aka TV Smith is an English singer-songwriter born 1956 in Romford, UK. In the 1970s Smith formed punk band The Adverts, who cut the classic Crossing the Red Sea With the Adverts album. Since then he has fronted other bands as well as pursuing a solo career. Outstanding albums include Immortal Rich, Generation Y and Misinformation Overload.
