Wayne County & The Electric Chairs' second 1978 album, Storm the Gates of Heaven, is a fiery, theatrical, and boundary-pushing piece of punk and glam history. Released on Safari Records, it marked a evolutionary leap from the band's raw debut. The record solidified Wayne County (who later transitioned to Jayne County) as one of rock's most fearless, openly transgender trailblazers. In Canada the album was retitled 'Man Enough to be a Woman'.
