Turkey (1972) by Wild Turkey—the second album from the hard rock outfit formed by former Jethro Tull bassist Glenn Cornick—is a highly debated, diverse artifact of early 1970s British rock. Stepping in to produce the record himself at Morgan Studios, Cornick steered the band away from the folk-tinged constraints of their debut, Battle Hymn, delivering a punchier, heavier blues-and-art-rock fusion that split critics and fans down the middle.
