Claudio Gizzi | Andy Warhol's Flesh for Frankenstein (Soundtrack) | Album

Claudio Gizzi’s score for the 1973 cult horror masterpiece Andy Warhol's Flesh for Frankenstein (directed by Paul Morrissey and starring Udo Kier) stands as an artifact of 1970s Euro-horror cinema. While contemporary Italian horror soundtracks of the era often relied on the driving, progressive rock rhythms popularized by bands like Goblin, Claudio Gizzi took a drastically different approach-crafting an icy, mournful, and hyper-dramatic neo-classical landscape.
