Mr Gasser & the Weirdos | Hot Rod Hootenany | Album
通常価格
Hot Rod Hootenanny by Mr. Gasser & the Weirdos is a wacky, delightfully weird snapshot of early-1960s California counterculture. Released by Capitol Records in November 1963, the album serves as the musical incarnation of legendary custom car designer and counterculture artist Ed "Big Daddy" Roth (the mastermind behind Rat Fink). Far from a thrown-together novelty cash-in, the LP is a highly competent, wildly entertaining slice of studio surf rock and hot rod car-culture parody.
The cover art is by Ed "Big Daddy" Roth, master illustrator and drag race enthusiast, creator of the iconic "Ratfink" character.
