• Ninajirachi

A landmark Australian record.

After years spent honing her craft through collaborations with Kota Banks and building the Dark Crystal / Girl EDM brand, she’s released a masterpiece.

Nina released ‘I Love My Computer’ in August 2025 to almost instant critical acclaim. The international music sphere exploded within the week with buzz from nerds to ravers to critics. And it’s easy to see why. It’s the best dance record to grace us since Porter Robinson’s ‘Nurture’, the best Australian record since Genesis Owusu’s ‘Smiling With No Teeth’.

The way the record blends pop songwriting with contemporary EDM and MySpace-era aesthetics is masterful. It’s a concept record combined with a rave in the form of Nina’s diary.

Moments like ‘Delete’ or ‘Sing Good’ show such an intimacy and honesty that’s akin to Porter Robinson’s ‘Nurture’, who she supported last year on his 2025 ‘SMILE!’ AUS leg. There’s an immediate comparison to be made as far as the overlap in concept and quality,

‘London Song’ is a perfect opener, and she just announced her first London tour as well for those in the UK. F*** My Computer is such an incredibly original concept that’s equally funny as it is terminally online. And the last three songs close the record on such a high note.

It’s so rewarding to see an artist break through like this after tracking her work for years. A massive congratulations to Nina for this one. It’s a new classic.
